Curious Caleb

Over these past few weeks, the big boys have been keeping us busy with first days of school, surgery, soccer games, etc.  In the midst of the this, our littlest has been experiencing some new "firsts" and mastering some skills (mainly climbing and escaping).  Here is some proof of what K has been up to this past month.

Mom finally lets me eat goldfish when I'm sitting on the floor (and not just in my high chair).  She knows how to live on the WILD SIDE.

Hey!  Who ate all the goldfish?!?

I feel that I've mastered feeding myself with a spoon.  Mom says I mastered making a mess with my food.

I can climb just about any ladder or climbing wall at the parks we go to, for some reason, mom doesn't seem as excited about this as me.  She's always saying something like "that's dangerous or be careful".

I love slides!

I decided that its WAY more fun if you grab the sides and give yourself a little more momentum on the way down.

This is awesome, especially since I do it by myself.

I like to help mom with her baking.

And by "help", I mean throw her pans on the floor and then stand on them.  Mom loves this!
I can go up and down the stairs ALL BY MYSELF.

I like to push this desk around the kitchen.  I've tried to take it down the stairs and squeeze it through the doorway into the dining room.  Neither worked, so I decided the best thing to do with it, is to climb on top of it since its obviously really sturdy and meant for standing on.

I like to wear shades when I'm shopping and I like to put them on BY MYSELF (are we noticing a theme here?)

Yep, I'm cool.

I like to call Grandma when I'm not playing with remotes or climbing things.

Because my mom has a hard time keeping up with it, I help do laundry too.
And of course by "help", I mean I throw clean clothes onto the floor for mom.
At the park, I discovered that carrying sticks around is WAY more fun than eating the mulch.

After that, I discovered the joy of hitting things with sticks.  Seriously!  This is fun for hours.
I experienced static electricity and made mom laugh again.
Occasionally, I sit still (admittedly, this only happens when I'm asleep).
I like to go sans pants as much as possible (I mean, who doesn't?!?).  And I love to flash this dimpled grin at my mom because then I can pretty much get away with anything.

  2. Thanks! He keeps me running, literally. I love him and his big personality. But I'm glad my twins weren't this precocious.
